February 2023 Broker Tip of the Month | Send a Market Update Now!
Good morning, agents, and thank you for joining us for this week’s or this month’s excuse me broker tip of the month and it’s a really quick, fast and simple one. If you are not doing this already, this could be the opportunity that you are missing out on and that is sending a quick market update every single month. And no matter what month in, month out to your sphere of influence and the leads that you have made a connection with.
So if you have all those if you’re like us here at White Picket Realty, you have everyone in your CRM. We use commissions inc. here. We can pull up everyone who we’ve spoken to, everyone who we’ve made contact with, and everyone who we’ve closed with. And those are the people that we want to keep updated on market statistics.
Now, it’s important for them to know these things because the news is going to tell them something completely different than what you are. And you, as the expert, get an opportunity to show your expertise and show what the numbers themselves mean. The simplest way to do this is to literally go to a HAR, type “MLS press release”. You’re going to notice that there is going to be a slew of press releases that are going to come up.
The latest one from 2023 is the one that you’re going to want to look at. Of course, pull up those numbers, but most importantly, read through this data, find information that you think is relatable to and understand the data and what it means to your clients. And then just like this, just like I’m doing with you right now, take a quick little two minute video, no more, no less of what this information means for your clients, both buyers and sellers.
They want to know three things. Can I sell my house right now? Is it a good time to buy? What are interest rates doing? And if you can answer those questions in that two minute video, you are going to be the rock star that you are meant to be with your real estate business.
